RESULTS
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Mines swimming had four individuals touch the wall first in their respective events on Saturday in dual action at Air Force.
While the Oredigger women fell by a score of 168-92 and the men suffered a 164-98 setback,
Lucas Hoke,
Luca Burns,
Jordan Tierney, and
Annie Osmun all grabbed gold with the fastest times of the day. Hoke stopped the clock at 10:03.07 in the 1000-free for a 17-second win. He also scored first-place points and had the second-fastest time in the 500-free. Burns won the 100-back by more than half a second, posting a 51.75. Tierney was tops in the 100-breast at 1:05.26. She grabbed silver in the 200-breast as well.
Annie Osmun added to the haul was a 2:14.10 in the 200-IM which gave her gold. The men's 400-freestyle relay earned first-place points after Air Force was disqualified.

Other notable performances came from
Olivia Kisow,
Garrett Waite,
Ronan Lauinger, and
Maggie Wells. Kisow scored second-place points in the 200-free.
Garrett Waite earned silver in the 50-free. Lauinger brought home two silver finishes in both the 200-back and 200-IM.
Maggie Wells scored second-place points and had the third-fastest 500-free. Burroughs returned to action with a second-place finish in the 100-fly.

The Oredigger women are back in action next Saturday with a home dual against Colorado State. Mines' men and women will close the dual season on Saturday, January 27, with Adams State in town for Senior Day.
