2024-25 Swimming Schedules: MEN | WOMEN

GOLDEN, Colo. – Colorado School of Mines Swimming is just one week away from its 2024-25 regular-season opener with the women starting Thursday, Oct. 24, and the men joining Friday, Nov. 1.

The Oredigger men and women enter 2024-25 after highly successful campaigns last year which included six combined NCAA All-American swims. Those performances helped Mines' women finish #25 in the nation and tally the highest point total at the national meet in program history. The Oredigger men also tied for #34. Both squads were runner-up at the 2024 RMAC Swimming & Diving Championships as well. Numerous program and facility records paved the way for the Mines men and women as Head Coach Claire McDaniel was named RMAC Men's Swimming & Diving Coach of the Year for the third time in her career.

Mines unofficially opened its slate last month during Homecoming Weekend with its annual Alumni Meet. The official start to regular-season racing comes on Thursday, Oct. 24, when the Oredigger women host NCAA Division I New Mexico State at the Mines Natatorium. The full team will be in action Nov. 1-2 at Adams State. Friday brings a duel between Mines and ASU before CSU Pueblo's women join competition on Saturday. After the trip to Alamosa, Colo., the Oredigger men take a quick jaunt to Colorado Springs for a duel at Colorado College on Friday, Nov. 8. That prefaces the first of three giant meets on the schedule – the TYR/CMU Invitational. Hosted by Colorado Mesa in Grand Junction, Colo., the TRY/CMU Invitational runs Nov. 20-23 and marks the first championship-style competition of the season.

After the multi-day event out West, the Orediggers take a break from competition. They'll return to action on Friday, Jan. 3, at the University of Denver. Saturday, Jan. 11, brings Mines to NCAA Division I Air Force where the men will go head-to-head with the Flacons while the women take on the hosts and Northern Colorado. Saturday, Jan. 18, will be Senior Day for the Orediggers as they host DI Wyoming in Golden. The women close out the regular season at DI Colorado State on Saturday, Jan. 25. Then, postseason racing begins.

Hardware goes on the line starting Feb. 11 at the 2025 RMAC Swimming & Diving Championships hosted by Colorado Mesa in Grand Junction, Colo. The conference meet runs from Tuesday evening through Saturday evening. A week later, a handful of Orediggers will go back to Grand Junction, Colo., for the Maverick Last Chance Qualifier and try to get their times low enough for the national meet. The season culminates March 11-15 at the 2025 NCAA Division II Swimming & Diving Championships in Indianapolis.

A full preview of each meet along with recaps will be posted the week prior and the day of each competition at www.minesathletics.com. Meet info will be posted at www.minesathletics.com as it becomes available. Both of Mines' home meets will include a free live video stream and live results.
