2024-25 Mines Women's Basketball Schedule

GOLDEN, Colo. – The Colorado School of Mines Women's Basketball team played its lone exhibition on Sunday at the University of Colorado, and now sit less than two weeks away from officially opening the 2024-25 regular season.

Overall, Mines' 2024-25 slate features the aforementioned exhibition and an additional 28 regular-season contests. The Orediggers will play 13 of those games at Lockridge Arena including 10 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) showdowns. The other three home games will take place before the holiday break against non-conference opponents. It's worth noting that the RMAC schedule for 2024-25 dropped from 22 games to 20 games with conference matchups now taking place on Thursdays and Saturdays. Mines enters the new season after a 21-9 (16-6 RMAC) effort in 2023-24 that saw the Orediggers finish fifth in the league standings and advance to a fourth straight NCAA tournament.

Mines officially opens its season on Friday, Nov. 8, against St. Mary's at the region crossover hosted this season by St. Edward's in Austin, Texas. The Orediggers face St. Edward's on Saturday, Nov. 9, before a trip to Billings, Mont., for the Yellowjacket Classic hosted by MSU Billings. There, Mines will take on Simon Fraser on Friday, Nov. 15., and the hosting Yellowjackets on Saturday, Nov. 16. One final road trip to Texas Woman's on Wednesday, Nov. 20, brings the Orediggers to their 2024-25 home opener. They'll host Minnesota State on Friday, Nov. 29, and Fort Hays State on Saturday, Nov. 30, as part of their 2024 Thanksgiving Classic. Those matchups lead Mines into RMAC action.

Conference play starts on the road for the Orediggers. They'll travel to Adams State and New Mexico Highlands on Dec. 5 and Dec. 7. Home RMAC action begins on Dec. 14 against Colorado Mesa with Westminster in town on Dec. 16. One more non-conference showdown against Angelo State on Lockridge Arena is slated for Friday, Dec. 20, right before the holiday break. After the calendar flips, Mines will take trips to Chadron State, South Dakota Mines, Regis, Western Colorado, Westminster, MSU Denver, UCCS, and CSU Pueblo. In the New Year, the Orediggers will host CSU Pueblo, Colorado Christian, MSU Denver, Fort Lewis, Adams State, Black Hills State, Chadron State, and Regis.
