2024-25 Mines Wrestling Schedule

GOLDEN, Colo. -
With the season less than a week away, Colorado School of Mines wrestling has announced a home-heavy 2024-25 schedule.

The Orediggers have 11 home dates on the schedule, including a pair of tri-meets and the return of the Jack Hancock Duals, as they are set to open their season this Sunday with the Mines Rookie Open at Steinhauer Fieldhouse. Mines fans will have plenty of opportunities to see the Orediggers both before and after the holiday break, including four straight home duals to start the season.

After this weekend's Rookie Open, Mines will host a pair of tri-meets, first with Northeastern JC and Snow College on Nov. 8, and then with Fort Hays State and Otero College on Nov. 15, both starting at 4 p.m. in Volk Gym. The fall semester closes with tournament appearances at the Younes Hospitality Open (Kearney, Neb.) on Nov. 23, and the Midwest Classic (Indianapolis, Ind.) on Dec. 14-15.

Mines opens 2025 at home with the Jack Hancock Duals, a dual tournament named in honor of the late Mines Hall of Fame coach. The two-mat, six-dual tournament will bring in Central Missouri, Sioux Falls, and Belmont Abbey to Volk Gym. The RMAC dual schedule starts at home Jan. 10 against defending conference champion Chadron State, and Mines hosts a final non-conference opponent with Cal Poly Humboldt on Jan. 17.

A trip to CSU Pueblo on Jan. 24 picks up the RMAC schedule followed by a return home the next day to host Western Colorado, then a weekend swing south to Adams State and New Mexico Highlands follows on Feb. 1 and 2. Mines closes the dual season on its home mat with Colorado Mesa (Feb. 7) and Simon Fraser (Feb. 12) before tuning up for the postseason with the Rocky Mountain Collegiate Open Feb. 16 at Steinhauer Fieldhouse.

The NCAA Super Region VI Championship will take place March 1 at Western Colorado, and qualifiers from there will head to the NCAA Division II Championship in Indianapolis on March 14-15.

All home duals are streamed for free on the RMAC Network. All dates and times are subject to change.
