2024 USTFCCCA All-Americans
Â
NEW ORLEANS – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches' Association (USTFCCCA) officially unveiled its list of All-Americans from the 2024 NCAA Division II Cross Country Championships.
Â
The Colorado School of Mines Men's and Women's Cross Country teams combined for seven Orediggers on list by virtue of individual top-40 finishes at last Saturday's national race in Sacramento, Calif. All-Americans for Mines' men included
Logan Bocovich (7th),
Loic Scomparin (8th),
Ethan Grolnic (9th),
Paul Knight (21st),
Dawson Gunn (25th), and
Jeremiah Vaille (37th). The Oredigger women were represented by
Jenna Ramsey-Rutledge who raced to individual bronze.
Â
It marks the third time in program history that the men of Mines have had six or more finish top-40. Those performances also fueled the Orediggers' fourth national title in program history. Ramsey-Rutledge put her name in the program record book as the highest-finishing Oredigger women at the national cross country meet as Mines' women finished fifth in the team standings. Additionally, Scomparin became the first Oredigger man with three top-10 finishes in his career at the DII XC championships.
