COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference announced its final weekly honors for women's soccer Thursday and after helping lead the top-ranked Colorado School of Mines women's soccer team to their seventh RMAC regular season title over the weekend, junior goalkeeper
Allie Lundgren was named Goalkeeper of the Week.
It is the third weekly honor for Lundgren this season.
Lundgren shined between the pipes in a pair of 3-0 wins over #18 Colorado Mesa and Westminster in the final two matches of the regular season for the Orediggers. Friday night against the Mavericks she recorded her eighth clean sheet of the season and logged saves on all four shots on goal while directing a defensive effort that stymied the defending RMAC Tournament champions. Sunday against the Griffins, the tallied two further saves and faced just six total shots in 77 minutes as she combined for the shutout to clinch the regular season crown. For the weekend, Lundgren netted six saves without allowing a goal in 167 minutes, lowering her season GAA to 0.33 and raising her save percentage to .884.
Mines (17-0-1, 11-0-1) will enjoy some time off before embarking on their postseason journey as they will host the RMAC Women's Soccer Championship semifinals and title match at Stermole Stadium November 13 and 16.
