GOLDEN, Colo. – After moving to 4-0 in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference play Monday, the Colorado School of Mines men's basketball team saw no change in their national standing this week ahead of non-conference action to close out 2024, remaining at #10 and #11 respectively in the NABC Division II Coaches and D2CSC Media polls.

The Orediggers (8-1, 4-0) returned to Lockridge Arena and ran their winning streak to eight games with 65-58 and 85-64 wins over Colorado Mesa and Westminster.

Nova Southeastern and Ferris State were the only members of the top five in the coaches poll to remain unchanged at #1 and #5 while Washburn and West Liberty each moved up one spot into second and third while Daemen surged three spots up to fourth.

This week's media poll also had the Sharks at #1 followed by the Hilltoppers of WLU moving up from fourth to second with Washburn remaining third. West Texas A&M dropped to fourth, essentially trading places with West Liberty while Ferris State also held pat at #5.

MSU Denver also appeared in the Top 25 in both polls this week at #22 in the coaches poll and #25 in the media poll as the only other RMAC team in the national spotlight.

Mines will head to the other Las Vegas this week in Nevada as they'll take on West Liberty and Angelo State in the Holiday Hoops Classic at the South Point Casino on Thursday afternoon and Friday night.
