GENEVA, Ohio – The Colorado School of Mines Men's and Women's Swimming teams closed out their trip to the 2024 NCAA Division II Swimming & Diving Championships on Saturday following a week of quality racing at SPIRE.

With just three individuals for each gender and one relay, the Oredigger women and men finished 25th and 34th, respectively. Mines' women earned their standing with 29 team points which marked the most points in program history at a NCAA championship meet. The Oredigger men collected six team points for their race in the standings. Annie Osmun, Jordan Tierney, and Joseph Lev-Tov were the individuals rounding out Mines' final day of championship racing.

All three Orediggers raced in the morning and Lev-Tov provided the highlight with Mines' last race of the week. The true freshman's 1650-free time of 15:38.56 proved good enough for #17 in the nation and also marked the fastest raw mile in program history. It bested Brennan Mays' raw time of 15:41.03 from the 2015 RMAC Swimming & Diving Championships. Osmun started the day in the 100-free and laid claim to #29 in all of NCAA Division II thanks to a time of 51.45. It was her fifth race of the week. Tierney's 200-free came sandwiched between the sprint and the mile. She stopped the clock at 2:18.57 and finished #20 in the nation.

Overall, for the week, Mines' men and women combined to produce six all-America finishes. Those included Osmun in the 100-fly, Ronan Lauinger in the 400-IM and 500-free, Tierney in the 100-breast, and Charles Burroughs in the 200-fly. The women's 400-medley relay made up of Kerrigan Hemp, Tierney, Osmun, and Jorie Selig also earned second-team all-America status. Tierny's 100-breast was the top finish for the Orediggers as she claimed national bronze.

Mines' season has come to an end. All postseason awards along with signing announcements will be released at www.minesathletics.com and on social media.
