GOLDEN, Colo. – Colorado School of Mines head men's soccer coach
Greg Mulholland has unveiled the 2024 slate that awaits the Orediggers this fall. This year's 18-match schedule features nine contests at Stermole Soccer Stadium, two trips to the west coast over the first three weeks of the season and non-conference matchups against two Denver-area opponents.
The season kicks off Thursday September 5 against Azusa Pacific followed by a date with Cal State San Marcos Saturday September 7. Mines returns to Golden the following week for their home opener Thursday September 12 against Biola and Saturday September 14 against Point Loma.
The following week Mines heads back out west September 20 and 22 to challenge Cal State Los Angeles and Cal Poly Pomona. Non-conference play wraps up the following week closer to home at the Orediggers host Regis on September 26 in Golden before heading downtown September 29 to take on MSU Denver.
RMAC action starts the following week in Golden as UCCS is first up on October 3 along with last year's national runners-up CSU Pueblo on October 6. October 10 sees Colorado Mesa come to town before Mines heads to Utah for a matchup with Westminster on October 13.
Round two against the Rangers comes on October 17 followed by a trip to Rapid City against South Dakota Mines on October 20. The following week marks a return to Stermole on October 24 and 27 against Fort Lewis and Adams State before the regular season wraps up with a short trip to Lakewood and Colorado Christian on October 31 and the second of two meetings with the Roadrunners on November 6 at home.
The Orediggers went 5-6-6 overall in 2023 and 4-4-2 in RMAC play and were in contention for a playoff spot until the final day of the regular season.
