Spring 2024 CSCAA Team Scholar All-America

PLYMOUTH MEETING, PA. –
Colorado School of Mines Men's and Women's Swimming teams have both earned Spring Team Scholar All-America status from the College Swimming and Diving Coaches' Association of America (CSCAA).

The Oredigger men and women claimed the distinction thanks to their combined work in the classroom during the spring semester. Mines' 22 men on the roster worked together for a team grade-point average (GPA) of 3.47. Eighteen Oredigger women posted a team GPA of 3.45. The prestigious recognition requires team to earn a cumulative GPA of 3.0, or better, during the Spring 2024 semester. Mines represented two of 722 teams from 417 institutions that reached the milestone. Furthermore, Head Coach Claire McDaniel's squads were two of 563 that boasted a GPA above 3.30.

Coach McDaniel, whose teams are both in the offseason, just announced her incoming class for the 2024-25 campaign. She signed five men and six women to bolster her already impressive rosters.
