GOLDEN, Colo. - Colorado School of Mines remains in the top 10 of the national polls, staying at #4 in the AFCA and slipping to #7 in the D2football.com rankings this week.
The Orediggers (3-0, 1-0 RMAC) defeated Chadron State on the road 13-12 in Week 3. It marks the 66th consecutive AFCA and 67th straight D2football.com poll Mines has appeared in dating back to 2018; the Orediggers have been in the top 10 for 26 consecutive editions. In the AFCA poll, Western Colorado moved to #14 and CSU Pueblo remained #22; WCU was #13 and CSUP #24 in the D2football.com poll.
Mines returns home Saturday to host Black Hills State for Homecoming.
