GOLDEN, Colo. – The Colorado School of Mines Men's and Women's Swimming teams may have rescheduled their dual with Wyoming, but the Orediggers still celebrated their seniors on Saturday at the Mines Natatorium.

Festivities began just before 11 a.m. with public recognition of the 2025 senior class.
Isabella Bono,
Sophia Buhr,
Jack Engler,
Gavin Gilmore,
Kerrigan Hemp,
Michael Kietzman,
Olivia Kisow,
Ronan Lauinger,
Jaron O'Grady,
Andres Saa,
Max Waring, and
Maggie Wells were all honored on the pool deck with friends, family, and alumni in attendance. After the celebration, the Orediggers held a men's and women's intrasquad meet featuring a shortened, sprint-heavy slate.

Action started with the 200-medley relay.
Emi Jedryka,
Cameryn Schmidt,
Savannah Karas, and
Jordan Tierney won the women's race.
Luca Burns,
Gavin Moore,
Mattie Oberley, and
Andres Saa were the men's winners as Burns broke his own pool record with his 50-back split of 22.92. Up next was the 200-free, the longest individual race of the day.
Maggie Wells cruised for the women, and
Joseph Lev-Tov flexed on the men's side. Then, it was time for the sprints.

Sophia Buhr and
Luca Burns won the 50-fly.
Sophia Cristal and
Sawyer Jones brought the youth movement in the 50-free. Gold in the 50-back went to
Kerrigan Hemp and
Luca Burns. Schmidt and
Joe Hutchinson were 50-breast winners. In the final individual event of the day, the 100-IM,
Jordan Tierney touched first in the women's race and Lauinger was first in the men's race. The always-thrilling 400-freestyle relay brought first-place finishes for the women's quartet of
Eden Addison,
Abby Swanson,
Sophia Cristal and
Jennifer Pierson, and the men's foursome of
Brenden Cook,
Vladislav Kazakin,
Cameron MacMillan, and
Sawyer Jones. Both winning relays were made up solely of true freshmen.
