Siebert Earns RMAC Offensive Player of the Week

COLORADO SPRINGS – Oredigger guard Jenna Siebert earned Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) Offensive Player of the Week distinction on Monday after guiding the Colorado School of Mines Women's Basketball team to a 2-0 week.
 
Siebert claimed the first weekly award of her career on the merits of 29.0 points and 3.0 assists per game. She was 20-of-42 (.476) from the floor, 10-for-24 (.417) from three-point range, and converted eight out of 11 opportunities at the free-throw line. The Parker, Colo., native's scoring ranked #1 in the RMAC for the week and her total assists were eighth most in the league. She scored 31 points on 50-percent shooting against MSU Denver on Thursday night while adding six steals, five rebounds, and one assist. At Regis on Saturday, Siebert added 27 more points on 45-percent shooting with seven rebounds, five assists, and one steal. For the season, the Valor Christian graduate ranks #3 in the RMAC in scoring and sits top-10 in five other statistical categories.
 
Thanks to Siebert's performances, Mines defeated the Roadrunners by a score of 71-63 and took down Regis by a 60-49 margin. The Orediggers' next action comes at home this Thursday against Fort Lewis.
