2025 Baseball Schedule

GOLDEN, Colo. – The Colorado School of Mines Baseball schedule is set and opening day for the 2025 season is within reach.

Mines begins its campaign this Friday, Jan. 31, at Southwestern Oklahoma State in Weatherford, Okla. The four-game series starts with a single, nine-inning game on Friday at 1 p.m. CT. Saturday features a 12 p.m. CT doubleheader, and the finale comes on Sunday at 12 p.m. CT. Those four games mark the start of a 50-game slate which includes 19 games at Jim Darden Field and 32 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference contests. Additionally, the Orediggers schedule features two teams appearing in the preseason national rankings. One of those is #5 Point Loma which Mines will face in California Feb. 7-8. The other is the #8 Mavericks of Colorado Mesa who the Orediggers host March 28-30 at Jim Darden Field.

After opening weekend, Mines travels to California for one game at Cal State San Marcos along with the aforementioned series at Point Loma. The Orediggers open at home Feb. 15-16 with three games against Fort Hays State. Non-conference games in Colorado Springs against Adams State and UCCS come next. Then, a trip to Illinois to take on Quincy brings Mines right up to its RMAC slate. League action takes the Orediggers to Adams State (March 7-9), MSU Denver (21-23), CSU Pueblo (April 4-6), and Colorado Christian (April 25-27). Conference series at Jim Darden Field include New Mexico Highlands (March 14-16), #8 Colorado Mesa (March 28-30), Regis (April 11-13), and UCCS (April 17-19). Game dates and times are subject to change and likely will thanks to the Colorado weather.

The Orediggers enter the 2025 season with seventh-year head coach Robby Bales at the Helm. Last season, Bales' squad finished the season 29-21 overall while going 20-12 in RMAC play. That mark tied Mines for #2 in the conference standings and resulted in the #3 seed for the RMAC tournament. The Orediggers took tournament wins off Adams State and CSU Pueblo, but fell to Regis twice. Live stats and streaming information for each game/series will be available at www.minesathletics.com.
