COLORADO SPRINGS - Colorado School of Mines 174-pounder Wyatt Reisz has been named the RMAC Wrestler of the Week for the first time in his career after leading Mines to a 2-0 weekend.

Reisz upset the nation's top-ranked wrestler to help the Orediggers stay unbeaten in the RMAC with wins over CSU Pueblo and #13 Western Colorado. On Friday at CSU Pueblo, Reisz handled Solomon Arnds-Volcin 11-4 en route to the Orediggers' 24-12 team win; on Saturday, Reisz controlled start to finish to beat #1 Cole Hernandez of Western Colorado 8-2, producing takedowns in the first and third periods. The dual was tied 12-12 coming into that 174-pound bout, and Reisz's victory sparked Mines to the 27-12 win over the Mountaineers.

Reisz, currently ranked #14 by the NWCA and #16 by OpenMat, is 17-3 this season including 3-0 in RMAC duals. He is the second Oredigger to be the RMAC Wrestler of the Week this season joining 125-pounder Christian Lopez (Jan. 7).

The Orediggers continue their schedule this Saturday at Adams State.
