GOLDEN, Colo. – The Colorado School of Mines men's basketball returns to action three weeks from today for the 2025-26 season as a new-look team looks to defend their RMAC titles. Head coach
Pryor Orser has assembled a 31-game slate for the Orediggers in the upcoming season with 13 dates at Lockridge Arena and features marquee trips to Montana, Texas and Nevada.
Mines opens the season November 7-9 at the D2CCA Tipoff Classic hosted by MSU Billings. Central Missouri, Nebraska-Kearney and Angelo State will be the first three opponents to get the action underway. The following weekend, the Orediggers head to Texas for regional crossover action November 14 and 16 at Lubbock Christian and St. Mary's.
The weekend before the Thanksgiving holiday sees Mines make their home debut November 21-22 against UT Dallas and UT Tyler before making a trip down to Colorado Springs to play Colorado College on November 25.
RMAC play awaits to start December as the Orediggers host Adams State and New Mexico Highlands December 4 and 6 before heading to Westminster and Colorado Mesa the following weekend December 11 and 13.
In their final games of the 2025 calendar year, Mines will head back to Las Vegas, Nevada and the South Point Casino and Resort for the Holiday Hoops Classic December 20-21 to square off with opening weekend host MSU Billings and first-time foe Rollins.
Starting 2026, the Orediggers close non-conference action January 3 at home against Northern New Mexico before resuming RMAC play January 8 and 10 against Chadron State and South Dakota Mines. Three straight road games follow with a trip to CSU Pueblo on January 15 followed by dates with Colorado Christian and Regis on January 17 and 22.
A quick stopover at Lockridge Arena on January 24 against MSU Denver precedes another trip west to take on Fort Lewis and Adams State to end the month on January 29 and 31. As the calendar turns over, Western Colorado and Westminster come to town February 5 and 7 before the Orediggers return to the road the following weekend February 12 and 14 against Black Hills State and Chadron State.
Mines ends the regular season with three of their final four contests at home starting February 19 against UCCS. CSU Pueblo and Regis make return trips February 21 and 24 before the Orediggers head downtown to take on MSU Denver in their regular season finale February 26.
