Oredigger Trio Earns CSC Academic All-District Honors

2025 CSC Academic All-District Teams
 
GOLDEN, Colo. – Three members of the Colorado School of Mines men's soccer team were honored for their athletic accomplishments and academic prowess Tuesday as Jaden Igarta, Marc Levin and Kian Mueller were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team for Division II.
 
The 2025 Academic All-District Men's Soccer Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. Student-athletes who meet both athletic and academic standards laid out by the CSC Academic All-America Core Committee will be selected to advance to the Academic All-America ballot.
 
Igarta carries a 3.53 GPA in Mechanical Engineering and was an RMAC Academic Honor Roll selection this fall. The second year man out of Portland netted an assist this fall and appeared in 16 matches with six starts for 617 minutes. His assist came late in the season against CSU Pueblo on October 3.
 
Levin owns a 3.52 GPA in Quantitative Biosciences & Engineering and was also named to the RMAC Academic Honor Roll. The fourth-year junior out of St. Louis returned from injury this year and made nine starts in 17 appearances for 827 minutes. He scored one goal with one assist for three points this year, with his assist coming in a season-opening win over Azusa Pacific and his goal coming in a 5-0 win to open RMAC play over South Dakota Mines on October 3.
 
Mueller sports a 3.75 GPA in Electrical Engineering and likewise was an RMAC Academic Honor Roll recipient. The sophomore from Corvallis, Oregon started eight times in 16 appearances for 916 minutes, and finished this fall tied for third on the team in scoring with two goals while also adding two assists for six points. Both of his goals came in a matchup with preseason Top 25 opponent Cal Poly Pomona on September 21 with his assists coming in a season opening win over Azusa Pacific and a draw in non-conference action against MSU Denver.
