AVCA All-America Teams
Â
LEXINGTON, Ky. – The American Volleyball Coaches' Association (AVCA) unveiled its 2025 NCAA Division II All-America teams earlier this week, and Mines'
Amanda Donais Dudley was named AVCA Honorable Mention All-America.
Â
Donais Dudley's AVCA nod marks the second of her career after earning AVCA Third-Team All-America distinction in 2021. She's the first Oredigger volleyball all-American since 2022 when Drew Stokes and Rose Stuewe were recognized. Overall, the list of 2025 AVCA All-Americans included 14 first-teamers, 14 second-teamers, and 14 third-teamers with 117 honorable mention selections. Barry's Valeriya Kozlova was AVCA Freshman of the Year. Makenna Nold of Concordia-St. Paul was AVCA Player of the Year. Brian Imperiale from Tampa claimed AVCA Coach of the Year, and Flavia Virgili from Point Loma earned AVCA Assistant Coach of the Year.
Â

Donais Dudley worked full time for three years before deciding to return to Mines for her master's degree in mechanical engineering, and one more year of volleyball. Her final season as an Oredigger featured 255 kills on .211 hitting from the right side with 279 digs, 67 total blocks, 13 service aces, and 21 assists. Donais Dudley was named AVCA First-Team All-Region, First-Team All-RMAC, and won RMAC Defensive Player of the Week on Oct. 6 for the first time in her career. She also closed the season ranked #11 in the RMAC in total points and points her set. Donais Dudley's career numbers include 1,151 kills, 981 digs, 240 total blocks, 106 service aces, and 108 assists.
