Don Hansen All-America Teams
GOLDEN, Colo. - Colorado School of Mines punter
Lucas LeSieur has been named a First-Team All-American by Don Hansen's after leading the nation in punting this season.
LeSieur, a redshirt freshman, leads NCAA Division II in his first season as a starter with a 44.8-yard average, punting 40 times and putting 13 inside the 20 with 10 over 50 yards. LeSieur was the RMAC and D2football.com Specialist of the Week after his debut at West Texas A&M that included a season-long 65-yard punt; he averaged 50+ yards in two games, against Chadron State and Black Hills State.
LeSieur is the second Mines specialist this postseason to earn all-America honors after batterymate
Josh Hildebrand was named AFCA Second-Team All-America earlier this week. Mines has now had a punter named all-America in three consecutive seasons after
Blake Doud earned consensus honors in 2023 and 2024.
