INDIANAPOLIS – A trio of Oredigger women closed out the 2025 NCAA Division II Swimming & Diving Championships on Saturday for the nationally-ranked Colorado School of Mines Men's and Women's Swimming teams.

Jennifer Pierson, Jordan Tierney, and Isabella Bono all raced for Mines during Saturday's morning session. Pierson appeared in the 100-free, Tierney competed the 200-breast, and Bono went in the 1650-free. Despite quality swims across the board throughout the week, the Oredigger women did not get into the team standings. After Saturday's finals, Mines' men finished the meet tied for #25 in the nation thanks to 24 team points. Nova Southeastern's women and Drury's men took home the team titles. The Oredigger men scored their most points at a national meet since tallying 39 in 2005. That total was good enough for #20 in the nation.

Pierson provided the first Mines performance of the day in the 100-free. She finished the race in 51.33 to place #39 in the nation. Her pace checked in on par with her fastest 100-free races of the season and was just .33 seconds away from the program's unadjusted record. Tierney was next in the 200-breast. She touched the wall at 2:19.63 to finish #28 in the nation. Bono's final collegiate race was the 1650-free. The senior churned out a 17:34.69 and closed her time at Mines #30 in the country. Those were Mines' only three races of the final day. For the week, the Orediggers found two all-America swims courtesy of true freshman Vladislav Kazakin who took seventh in the 500-free and 1000-free, both in record-breaking time.

Mines now enters the offseason. Any and all postseason awards will be announced on social media and at www.minesathletics.com. The Orediggers will also unveil their signing class in both spots in the coming months.
