GOLDEN, Colo. – Officials and staff at Colorado School of Mines and UCCS have agreed to change this weekend's baseball schedule.

The Orediggers and Mountain Lions will now start their four-game, RMAC series with a doubleheader on Thursday at 12 p.m. The first game will be a nine-inning contest and the second game will be a seven-inning contest. On Friday, Mines and UCCS plan to conclude their series with another doubleheader at 12 p.m., starting with a nine-inning game and ending with seven innings. If Friday's forecast does not cooperate, the second doubleheader will be moved to Saturday at 12 p.m. Additionally, Senior Day festivities will take place Thursday evening following the conclusion of game two.

A variety of factors forced the change including conference rules and regulations, umpire availability, and the weather forecast. Free live stats and video on the RMAC Network will be available at www.minesathletics.com.
