GOLDEN, Colo. - Colorado School of Mines wide receiver Max McLeod and long snapper Josh Wojciechowicz have earned next-level opportunities with the pair receiving invitations to upcoming NFL rookie minicamps.

McLeod received an invitation from the Denver Broncos to participate in their camp tentatively set for the second weekend in May, while Wojciechowicz earned invitations to the Baltimore Ravens' camp on the first weekend in May and the Tennessee Titans' camp the following weekend.

One of the greatest wide receivers in NCAA D-II history, McLeod left Mines with 4,688 yards (#4 all-time in the division) and 54 touchdowns, owning the Mines yardage record and ranking #2 in touchdowns. He produced more receiving yards than any D-II player since 2008 highlighted by his 2023 season which saw him make 115 catches for 1,656 yards and 16 touchdowns; he caught a career-high 18 scores in 2022 and had 70+ receptions in each of his last three seasons. McLeod was a three-year all-American including Associated Press nods in 2022, and 2023, and 2024, and was a consensus first-teamer in 2023. It will be the third consecutive year that an Oredigger has attended the Broncos' rookie camp as McLeod joins WR Josh Johnston (2023) and QB John Matocha (2024).

Wojciechowicz was D-II's top long snapper over the past few seasons, earning First-Team All-RMAC in 2024 and earning spots in both the East-West Shrine Bowl and Hula Bowl. He started 44 games over four years, and helped Mines produce the nation's best net punting average in both 2023 (41.1 ypp) and 2024 (42.8 ypp) along with all-American punter Blake Doud. In 2023, he was the only long snapper at any level of college football to have two all-Americans behind him in Doud and kicker Hunter Pearson. On punt coverage, Wojciechowicz was outstanding, making four tackles out of only 13 returnable punts in 2024, and making a tackle and forcing a fumble in 2023.
