Men’s Soccer Announces 2025 Schedule

GOLDEN, Colo. – Following a 2024 season in which they returned to postseason play, the Colorado School of Mines men's soccer team has announced their fall 2025 schedule as they look to reclaim their spot atop the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.
 
17 matches are on the schedule for 2025 with nine contests within the confines of Stermole Soccer Stadium. The action gets underway Thursday September 4 at 7 p.m. against the first of five California opponents to open the season as Azusa Pacific is the lone opponent opening weekend. The first road trip of the season awaits in week two with trips to Point Loma and Biola on September 11 at 1 p.m. PT and September 13 at 7 p.m. PT. PLNU was ranked #9 in last fall's week two contest in Golden and ended 2024 receiving votes in the United Soccer Coaches Top 25.
 
The following weekend Cal State Los Angeles and Cal Poly Pomona make the return trip to Golden September 19 at 7 p.m. and September 21 at 12 p.m. The Eagles and Broncos finished 2024 ranked 11th and 19th respectively in the USC Top 25. Week four is a split weekend of non-conference regional play against RMAC foes MSU Denver and Westminster as Mines hosts the Roadrunners on September 25 at 7 p.m. before heading to Salt Lake City Sunday September 28 for a 12 p.m. match with the Griffins.
 
RMAC play begins with a single match on opening weekend at home as the calendar turns to October and South Dakota Mines comes to Stermole Stadium for a 7 p.m. bout on October 3. Two local foes await the following weekend as the Orediggers head to MSU Denver Thursday October 9 for a 3:30 p.m. contest before heading to Colorado Christian on October 12.
 
Mines returns home the following weekend October 16 and 19 to host Westminster and Colorado Mesa before playing three of their final five matches on the road to end the season. October 23 and 26 sees the Orediggers head west to Adams State and Fort Lewis before closing home competition in the regular season October 30 and November 2 against CSU Pueblo and UCCS. The Skyhawks closed last year sixth in the final USC Top 25 while the ThunderWolves made a third straight trip to the Final Four and finished third in the country while the Mountain Lions ended the year ranked #18. The regular season ends November 5 with a trip to Regis with the RMAC Tournament starting the weekend of November 8-9.
 
Mines went 7-10-2 overall last season and 6-2-2 in league play to finish fifth in the standings, going 6-0-2 over their final eight matches to end the regular season.
