2024-25 CSCAA Individual Scholar All-Americans | Scholar All-America Teams
 
GOLDEN, Colo. – The Colorado School of Mines Men's and Women's Swimming squads were recognized by the College Swimming & Diving Coaches' Association of America (CSCAA) as Scholar All-America Teams for the Spring 2025 semester with 16 Orediggers claiming individual Scholar All-America distinction.
 
The team accolades for the men and women were earned on the merits of a Spring 2025 semester grade-point average of 3.00 or higher. Mines' women posted a combined 3.57 for the term and the Oredigger men turned in a 3.45 team GPA. Overall, 763 teams from 432 institutions were recognized by the CSCAA.
 
Individually, Eden Addison, Isabella Bono, Julie Gill, Olivia Kisow, Ava LaBrose, Jennifer Pierson, and Jordan Tierney were named to the CSCAA's Scholar All-American team on the women's side. Luca Burns, Lucas Hoke, Vladislav Kazakin, Michael Kietzman, Ronan Lauinger, Joseph Lev-Tov, Cameron MacMillan, Jaron O'Grady, and Jakson Winn represented Mines' men as CSCAA Scholar All-Americans. An individual GPA of 3.5 or higher along with participation in the 2025 NCAA Division II Swimming & Diving Championships helped Bono, Kazakin, Lauinger, Pierson, and Tierney claim First-Team Scholar All-America status. Addison, Burns, Gill, Hoke, Kietzman, Kisow, LaBrose, Lauinger, Lev-Tov, MacMillan, O'Grady, and Winn were Second-Team Scholar All-Americans thanks to a 3.5 GPA or higher and a "B" standard for the national meet. In total, the CSCAA recognized over 2,700 swimmers and divers for the 2024-25 season.
 
July's academic announcement adds to a successful season for Mines swimming which featured a runner-up finish for the women at the conference meet while the men claimed team bronze. Both Oredigger squads had representatives at the national event where the men tied for 25th and the women had three individuals in the pool. Additionally, Head Coach Claire McDaniel was voted Men's Swimming Coach of the Year by the coaches in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.
