COLORADO SPRINGS – The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference released its 2025-26 RMAC Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving Preseason Coaches' Poll last week with the Oredigger men voted #2 and the women #3 while collecting six Preseason All-RMAC awards.
Mines' men were projected for a second-place finish after earning one first-place vote, three second-place votes, and one third-place vote, totaling 20 points. The standing matches the Orediggers' finish at the 2025 RMAC Swimming & Diving Championships. Mines' women were voted third with three second-place votes and three third-place votes for a total of 49 points. They also finished third at the conference meet last season. Colorado Mesa topped both preseason lists. Simon Fraser's women slotted second, ahead of the Orediggers while SFU's men were third, just behind Mines. The polls were voted on by the head coaches in the conference. Coaches were not allowed to vote for their own team.
Additionally, Mines swimming & diving collected six Preseason All-RMAC distinctions based on their championship finishes last year.
Jakson Winn earned Preseason All-RMAC in the 100-free and 100-back.
Vladislav Kazakin was honored in the 200-free, 500-free, and 1000-free. He is the defending champion in both the 500-free and 1000-free.
Emi Jedryka represented the Oredigger women with her preseason nod in the 200-back.
The Oredigger men and women host their annual Alumni Meet this Saturday at 9 a.m. in the Mines Natatorium as part of Homecoming Weekend. Their 2025-26 collegiate opener will be Friday, Oct. 10, at 3 p.m., hosting Adams State. A full preview of the ASU dual and applicable live coverage information will be released at
