RESULTS
DENVER, Colo. – The Colorado School of Mines men's and women's swimming & diving teams kicked of the new year Friday with a dual at the University of Denver.

The final score on the men's side was 190-49 while the women's margin was 189-47 with DU winning both duals. Along the way, Mines recorded multiple second-place finishes while going up against the NCAA Division I Pioneers.
Mary Flikkema,
Jordan Tierney,
Kaya Flaherty, and
Jennifer Pierson started it with silver in the women's 200-medley relay. Later,
Mikaela Khan touched second in the women's 200-fly. On the back end,
Vladislav Kazakin grabbed silver in the men's 500-free, and
Anna Bream was second in the women's 200-breast.
Brenden Cook,
Dan Berke,
Jack Fulham, and
Jakson Winn closed the day by racing to second in the men's 400-freestyle relay.
