CSCAA DII Top-25 Polls
Â
RICHMOND, VA. – The College Swimming and Diving Coaches' Association of America released its January edition of the Division II Top 25 dual meet poll, and Mines' men and women both climbed in the national rankings.
Â
The Oredigger women improved on spot to #11. Mines' men also moved up one spot to #19. The moves come after a pair of duals opened the new year for the Orediggers. They went to NCAA Division I Denver on Jan. 2 where the Pioneers won both sides. On Jan. 10., Mines celebrated Senior Day in its home finale with the women facing Western Colorado and the men taking on DI Air Force. The Oredigger women defeated the Mountaineers, 164-59, while the men fell to the Falcons.
Â
Drury's men and Tampa's women both remained #1 in the nation. Colorado Mesa was the only other RMAC squad in the men's poll, slotting at #4. Fellow RMAC squads in the women's rankings included #3 Colorado Mesa and #15 Simon Fraser.
Mines is slated to compete at Denver's First Chance Invitational Feb. 6-7. A full preview and any live coverage information will be available leading up to the dual at www.minesathletics.com.
