PUEBLO, Colo. –
Mines' men's and women's swimming teams put together a successful outing at CSU Pueblo on Saturday.

The Oredigger men handled business, 214-41, in a head-to-head dual with Adams State. Mines' women earned wins over CSU Pueblo and Adams State by scores of 189-83 and 218-33, respectively. Saturday marked the Orediggers' second straight day of racing after the men faced off against #4 Colorado Mesa. Mines punctuated its victories with four pool records on the women's side.

Saturday's racing started with a pair of Oredigger wins in the 400-medley relay. The 1000-free was the next event which saw Julie Gill and Vladislav Kazakin race to gold. Ava LaBrose and Brenden Cook carried that momentum into a pair of first-place finishes in the 200-free. Then, Zach Marshall added another gold to Mines' medal count in the 100-breast. The Orediggers owned the 100-back thanks to Mary Flikkema and Travis Black. Mikaela Khan and Gherman Prudnikau won the 200-fly as well. Cook's 100-free win kicked off the back half of the meet after the diving break. Anna Bream and Marshall did work in the 200-breast during the longer program as well. Zoe McGee's and Jack Fulham's 100-fly performances continued Mines' gold-medal success. After that, the freestyle sprint found Abby Swanson and Cook touching the wall first.

Finally, Kaitlyn LaTendresse, Black, Bream, Sebastian Guio, Khan, and Prudnikau carried the Orediggers into the final relays – all with first place finishes. Aly Cutforth, LaBrose, Bream, and Monica DiGaetani won the women's 200-freestyle relay. Fulham, Dylan Heikkila, Dan Berke, and Cameron MacMillan claimed gold in the men's freestyle relay. That finished a day which included reported facility records for Mines in the 500-freee after Bream's fast start in the 1000-free, the 200-back, the 100-back, and the 200-fly.

Mines takes almost a month off before heading to Grand Junction for the TYR-CMU Invitational.
