AVCA-Taraflex Division II WVB Poll

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Colorado School of Mines volleyball team improved to #22 in the latest AVCA-Taraflex Division II Poll put together by the American Volleyball Coaches' Association.

Mines' three-spot jump from #25 came after two more straight-set victories last week. The Orediggers swept Colorado Mesa on Thursday evening. They did the same to Westminster on Saturday evening as part of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference's Power Pod. Those results also helped Mines maintain its spot at #2 in the South Central Region in the NCAA NPI Rankings while rising to #12 overall. The Orediggers are still the only RMAC team in the top 25. Angelo State is the only other ranked team in the region at #5. Colorado Mesa, Dallas Baptist, MSU Denver, and UT Tyler are all receiving votes.

The Orediggers head to South Dakota this weekend where they'll play Black Hills State on Friday and South Dakota Mines on Saturday.
