OREDIGGERS VISIT OKLAHOMA FOR THE HRNCIAR
After a week off from team play, Colorado School of Mines returns with a first-time visit to southeastern Oklahoma and The Hrnciar, hosted by Cameron University at The Territory Golf & Country Club. With two tournaments to go in the fall segment of the season, Mines hopes to make an early push in the first regional rankings with a strong showing.

THE TOURNAMENT
After several tournaments against fellow RMAC teams, Mines will take on top programs from the Lone Star Conference this week at the Hrnciar, with DBU, Midwestern State, St. Mary's, and host Cameron all receiving votes in the latest Bushnell/Golfweek top 25 along with the Orediggers. Monday's 36 holes start with an 8 a.m. CT shotgun start with the Orediggers paired with Cameron, Midwestern State, and St. Mary's; Tuesday's start time and pairings are to be determined.

LAST TIME OUT
Mines finished tied for fourth at the San Juan Intercollegiate on Sept. 22, led by Giacomo Gaggero's career-best T9th finish that included a collegiate-best final round of 68. Zach Shallat was T14, Liam Allan T17, and Enzo Martínez T38.

THE FORECAST
As good as it gets with two warm and dry days in Oklahoma this week - sunny and a high of 84 each day with diminishing winds on Monday and light winds on Tuesday.

THE COURSE
A 7,100-yard, par-72 Randy Heckenkemper design, The Territory Golf &Country Club opened in 2003. The course is defined by two natural forces - numerous water features and Oklahoma's ever-present wind - that make it a challenging test, and its design heavily uses the natural features of southeastern Oklahoma including native prairie grass, rock outcroppings, and creek crossings.

PRESEASON HONORS
Sophomores Liam Allan and Enzo Martínez were named to the Preseason Men's Golf All-RMAC team in August, recognizing them as two of the top returners in the league. Allan was the RMAC Freshman of the Year and a Second-Team All-RMAC pick last spring, qualifying for the NCAA Regional Championships as an individual after finishing as the runner-up at the RMAC Championships. He led Mines in scoring (72.83) and had five top-10s and four top-5s topped by a victory at the RJGA Palm Valley Classic. Martínez was also a Second-Team All-RMAC selection, working his way into the lineup as a freshman to become of the team's top contributors in the spring. Martínez averaged 72.92 across seven tournaments and had four top-10 finishes, including T8 at the RMAC Championships.

IN THE POLLS
The Orediggers were chosen third in the RMAC preseason coaches' poll behind Colorado Mesa and CSU Pueblo, and tied with Colorado Christian. Mines also received votes in the latest Bushnell/Golfweek D-II Coaches' Top-25 Poll released last week.

WHAT'S AHEAD
The Orediggers' fall concludes at the Otter Invitational in California Oct. 11-13.
