GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. – Another gold medal for Anna Bream was the highlight of the day Thursday as the Colorado School of Mines men's and women's swimming & diving teams wrapped their third day at the 2026 RMAC Swimming & Diving Championships.

Bream flew to a first-place finish in the 400-IM, winning by more than four seconds in a program-record time of 4:22.02. It added to her medal count after winning the 200-IM on Wednesday evening. The true freshman had Mines' only gold medal of the day, but not the only highlight. The women's 400-medley relay of Mary Flikkema, Jordan Tierney, Kaya Flaherty, and Jennifer Pierson raced to silver and broke the program record with a NCAA-qualifying time of 3:43.61. Along the way, Flikkema's leadoff of 55.31 also broke the program's 100-back record. Right after that, the men's 400-medley relay featuring Jakson Winn, Joe Hutchinson, Jack Fulham, and Brenden Cook also broke the program record with a time or 3:15.87. Like Flikkema, Winn brought down his own program record with a 47.61 leadoff.

Thursday's relays capped a day full of outstanding performances by the Orediggers. The women's 100-fly saw Kaya Flaherty pump out a NCAA "B" time while taking fourth as Savannah Karas, Kylie Vandermeer, Michelle Murphy, and Cameryn Schmidt went 1-2-3-4 in the "B" final. Charlie Krone and Fulham produced NCAA times in the men's 100-fly, taking third and fourth. Bream wasn't the only Mines star in the 400-IM. Mikaela Khan pushed out a NCAA time while finishing fifth. Will Coburn's top finish in the "B" final was fourth-fastest on the night and a straight NCAA "B" time without conversion for altitude. Finally, the 200-free closed the individual racing. Ava LaBrose flew for the women and took fourth while posting a NCAA "B" time – no conversion. The men's "A" final of the 200-free saw Krone in fifth, MacMillan in seventh, and Cook in eighth with the first two laying down NCAA paces. Krone and Michelle Murphy went for a rare double on Thursday as well with both appearing in the 100-fly and 200-free.

Mines continues its trip to the conference meet on Friday with a 10 a.m. start. Live video is available with a subscription to the RMAC Network. There will also be free live results.
