GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. – The Colorado School of Mines men's and women's swimming & diving teams stacked four gold medals Friday at the 2026 RMAC Swimming & Diving Championships.

The Orediggers claimed four of 11 available gold medals Friday and
Joseph Lev-Tov was named the RMAC Summit Award winner in men's swimming.
Vladislav Kazakin won the men's 500-free in a NCAA "B" time of 4:31.36.
Jakson Winn won the men's 100-back after posting NCAA "B" clip of 47.92.
Jordan Tierney returned to the top of podium in the women's 100-breast after a one-year hiatus thanks to her time of 1:02.15.
Mikaela Khan provided the last gold medal of the night for Mines after winning the women's 200-fly in a program-record 2:01.97. She held the previous record as well. While not a gold medal, the Oredigger men added to Friday's highlights by taking silver in the 200-freestyle relay while breaking the program record with a time of 1:20.24.

Dan Berke, and
Jack Fulham contributed to the record-breaking effort.

Mines found plenty of scoring outside the RMAC titles and program records.
Julie Gill,
Elizabeth Powers, Khan,
Ava LaBrose, and
Samantha Crane added team points for the Orediggers in the women's 500-free.
Nathan Moss, Lev-Tov,
Cameron MacMillan, and
Jake Sherman did the same on the men's side. The 100-back saw
Mary Flikkema and
Emi Jedryka score for the Oredigger women with
Reid Wilkerson scoring for the men.
Cameryn Schmidt,
Anna Bream,
Ava Burger,
Willow Coburn, and Zoeseus Phoebus joined Tierney by scoring in the women's 100-breast.
Joe Hutchinson,
Fausto Angelone Lopez, and
Kevin Burns did the same for the Mines men in the same event.
Savannah Karas and
Kaya Flaherty were part of Khan's entourage in the women's 200-fly.
Lucas Hoke,
Jackson Steider, and
Lucas Waasdorp went off in the men's 200-fly.

Friday's relays saw
Cameryn Schmidt,
Kylie VanderMeer, Tierney, and
Jennifer Pierson grab bronze for the women in the 200-freestyle relay.
Michelle Murphy, Flikkema, Phoebus, and Crane made up the Orediggers' second women's relay. The record-breaking relay for Mines' men found support from a second quartet featuring
Kevin Burns,
Cameron MacMillan,
Lucas Waasdorp, and
Charlie Krone. Additionally,
Bruno Albertoni cracked 500 points during his 3-meter diving exhibition.

After four days of swimming and diving, the Oredigger women are second in the team standings with 991.5 points. Mines' men also hold standing at second in the team race with their 563.5 team points. Colorado Mesa is first on both sides. The Maverick women tout 1,357.5 points and the CMU men own 953 points.
