GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. – Saturday brought a sweep of team silver for the Colorado School of Mines men's and women's swimming & diving teams as the Orediggers closed out the 2026 RMAC Swimming & Diving Championships on the campus of Colorado Mesa.

The Oredigger women scored 1,304.5 points across five days and 13 sessions. Mines' men tallied 762.5 during the same span. Colorado Mesa swept the men's and women's title for an eighth straight year. The Maverick men totaled 1,234 points while CMU's women scored 1,870.5 points. Colorado Mesa did sweep all the individual high point awards. However, Mines' own Anna Bream, a true freshmen, was second in total points on the women's side with 116 compared to Olivia Hansson's 123.

Saturday's racing finale brought plenty of highlights for the Orediggers. Julie Gill led Mines' women in the 1650-free with a ninth-place finish and a NCAA "B" cut. Lucas Hoke was Second-Team All-RMAC in the men's mile after taking second. He, along with Nathan Moss, Joseph Lev-Tov, and Jake Sherman accounted for four of the eight fastest times in the event, all under the NCAA "B" standard. Action continued in the 100-free where Jennifer Pierson registered a NCAA time and took seventh. The men's 100-free featured Jack Fulham in fifth, Jakson Winn in seventh, and Brenden Cook in eighth. That trio touted NCAA pace as well.

After the first two freestyle events came the 200-back and 200-breast. On the women's side, Mary Flikkema represented Mines in the A final, finishing eighth. Emi Jedryka was right behind her and won the B final with the fifth-fastest time of the night. Reid Wilkerson churned out an eighth-place finish for the Orediggers in the men's 200-back. Then, it was silver for Bream in the women's 200-breast thanks to a program-record time of 2:15.35. Cameryn Schmidt joined Bream in the A final and took eighth. The men's 200-breast saw Fausto Angelone Lopez, Joe Hutchinson, and Evan Angeline go 6-7-8. Finally, in the 400-freestyle relays, Kaya Flaherty, Ava LaBrose, Michelle Murphy, and Pierson raced to bronze for the women. Cook, Winn, Dan Berke, and Fulham broke the men's program record and earned a silver medal.

The next action for Mines will be the CMU Last Chance Meet back in Grand Junction, Colo., next Saturday.
