GOLDEN, Colo. - Colorado School of Mines football has announced 36 new additions to its program for the 2026 season as part of National Signing Day.

The Orediggers will welcome 33 freshmen, including eight Coloradans, this fall, filling needs at all position groups. The Mines coaching staff continued to recruit Texas heavily, as well, with 13 coming from the Lone Star State, along with four Oklahomans and three from California. Seven linebackers lead the position groups along with six defensive backs, five receivers, five offensive linemen, three tight ends, three defensive linemen, three running backs, a quarterback, and a kicker/punter. 

The class includes three previously-announced transfers, as well: receiver Caydon Coffman (Harvard), defensive back Jackson Harmon (Montana State), and linebacker Max Mendoza (New Hampshire). Coffman and Harmon arrive as graduate transfers with one season of eligibility remaining, while Mendoza is a redshirt freshman with four years of eligibility.
