DENVER, Colo. – Jordan Tierney stole the show for the Colorado School of Mines swimming & diving teams Friday at the First Chance Invitational as she won the 100-breast in an entirely DI field at the University of Denver.

Tierney posted a time of 1:02.60 and won by nearly a second in the nine-swimmer field featuring swimmers from DU, Air Force, and Wyoming. Earlier in the day,
Samantha Crane,
Eden Addison, and
Aidan Bailey all raced the 200-free. Crane went 1:55.38 and Addison touched at 1:59.44 on the women's side. Bailey stopped the clock at 1:47.92 for the men. After Tierney,
Lucas Hoke and
Lucas Waasdorp churned out 200-fly paces of 1:52.30 and 1:59.96, respectively.
Abby Swanson closed Mines' day at the unscored invitational with a 24.25 in the 50-free.
