Bream, Relay Guide Orediggers on Day 3 of NCAA Championships

EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The Colorado School of Mines men's and women's swimming & diving teams were guided by Anna Bream and the Orediggers 400-medley relay on the third day of the 2026 NCAA Division II Swimming & Diving Championships.
 
Bream earned CSCAA Second-Team All-America honors by finishing 11th in the nation in the 400-IM with a time of 4:22.11. Then, Mary Flikkema, Jordan Tierney, Kaya Flaherty, and Jennifer Pierson raced to CSCAA Second-Team All-America distinction in the 400-medley relay with a time of 3:44.29 which placed the Orediggers 12th in the nation. Bream and Mines' relay on the women's side kept the Orediggers 15th in the team standings thanks to 32 points. The Oredigger men nestled at 23rd thanks to eight team points.
 
During the morning session, Kaya Flaherty placed 32nd in the nation in the 100-fly thanks to a 56.64 clip. Bream was ninth in her 400-IM prelims while Willow Coburn and Mikaela Khan went 26th and 35th, respectively. Ava LaBrose's 200-free rounded out Mines' morning as she posted a 1:52.67 to finish 34th in the nation.
 
The fourth day of racing for Mines at the NCAA meet includes the 100-fly, 400-IM, 200-free, and 400-medley relay on Thursday. Prelims begin at 9 a.m. CT. Live coverage is available through links at www.minesathletics.com and at www.ncaa.com.
