Colorado School of Mines began play at a pair of tournaments on Monday with the varsity and developmental squads both in action.

At the Midwestern State Invitational at Wichita Falls CC in Texas, the Orediggers are tied for 13th through 36 holes at +27, led by Liam Allan's 17th-place pace. On the par-71 course, Allan shot a second-round 69 to rise up the leaderboard after a morning 73. Enzo Martinez is next on the leaderboard in a tie for 38th, shooting a 71 before a second-round 77 to land at +6 for the tournament.

Lukas Taggart and Colt Tenpenny stand tied for 71st at +11, with Taggart carding rounds of 79 and 73 and Tenpenny 80 and 73. Lucas Schulte is T92 (+15) bouncing back from a first-round 83 to shoot 74 after lunch.

UT Permian Basin, led by individual leader Will Tate (-7), holds the team lead at -7, the only squad under par.

At the Oakwood Intercollegiate in Oklahoma, Alexander Samuelsson leads the Orediggers' developmental squad in a tie for 21st, +5, thanks to rounds of 72 and 75 on the par-71 Oakwood CC. Davis Kushner is two strokes back tied for 28th with rounds of 77 and 72, and Charlie Tran is +8 and tied for 36th after twin scores of 75. Devin Nguyen shot 79 and 73 to be +10 at T44, and Eric Casademont Vinyoles is T64 (+14) with scores of 82 and 74. 

New Mexico Military's Gianbattista Perilli is the individual leader at -4.

Tuesday's final rounds start at 8:30 a.m. Central.
