2026 ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Div. II All-Region Teams
Â
GREENSBORO, N.C. – The American Baseball Coaches' Association (ABCA) in partnership with Rawlings named Oredigger standouts
Evan Bilter and
Brody Duvall First-Team All-Region Wednesday morning.
Â
Bilter earned ABCA First-Team All-Region at third base. Duvall was ABCA First-Team All-Region in the outfield. It marked the third all-region honor for both Orediggers. Overall, the South Central Region had 17 honorees on the first team and 18 on the second team. Colorado Mesa swept the Position Player of the Year and Pitcher of the Year awards thanks to Kolby Felix and Jackson Eisenhauer. Selections for the all-region teams were voted on by members of the ABCA and coordinated by the ABCA NCAA Div. II All-America & Coach of the Year Committee. Members of that committee include Rudy Garbalosa (Lynn), Jim Gantt (Catawba), Rick Giannetti (Dominican), Dave Hajek (UCCS), Ryan Kelley (Wayne State University), Alex Koch (Wayne State College), Marc Marizzaldi (Seton Hill), and Paul Svagdis (Westmont).
Â
Bilter's 2026 resume now includes ABCA First-Team All-Region, D2CCA First-Team All-Region, NCBWA First-Team All-Region, First-Team All-RMAC, RMAC All-Tournament, RMAC First-Team All-Academic, and a pair of preseason recognitions. On the diamond, the Pleasanton, Calif., native batted .410 with 58 runs on 86 hits including 19 doubles, two triples, and nine home runs. He also tallied 67 RBI, was walked 19 times and hit by a pitch 24 times while adding three stolen bases on four attempts. Bilter surpassed 200 career hits during the season as well. The recent Mines graduate finishes his time in Golden, Colo., with 18 entries in the program record book including #3 in career batting average, #2 in single-season hits, and top-10 in career doubles, RBI, and slugging among many others.
Â
Duvall's list of accolades in 2026 includes NCBWA First-Team All-America, ABCA First-Team All-Region, D2CCA First-Team All-Region, NCBWA First-Team All-Region, First-Team All-RMAC, and RMAC First-Team All-Academic. He had a record-breaking season for the Orediggers with his 92 hits which topped the program's all-time mark for hits in a season. The previous record was 85 set by Tevor Kehe in 2019. That production helped the Utah native bat .460 for the year while totaling 73 runs, 18 doubles, five triples, three home runs and 33 RBI. He added 17 walks and 18 stolen bases on 20 attempts too. Duvall finished the regular season and the conference tournament ranked #1 in the nation in hits per game and #2 in batting average. His 73 runs rank #3 in Mines history as well.
Â
Bilter, Duvall, and the Orediggers closed their 2026 season after an improbable run to the championship game of the conference tournament earlier this month. Additional postseason awards including academic accolades and all-America teams will be announced at
