Softball Claims #6 Seed For 2026 RMAC Tournament

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – After missing out on the postseason in 2025, the Colorado School of Mines softball team makes their return to the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Softball Championship in 2026 as the #6 seed in this year's edition of the event. Game times have been set and tickets are officially on sale.
 
Mines will square off Thursday at 2:30 p.m. against #3 seed MSU Denver in the second of two quarterfinals at All-Star Park in Lakewood. If the Orediggers win, they will advance to Friday's semifinal against #2 seed CSU Pueblo at 2:30 p.m.
 
A new tournament format is in store this week, with the event switching to a single-elimination format with just five games being played over three days to determine the RMAC Tournament Champion and the recipient of the automatic bid to the NCAA Division II Softball Championship.
 
Fans are encouraged to pre-purchase their tickets online. Adult general admission is $21 per day while a full tournament pass is $37.74. Tickets for children aged 6-17 as well as adults 65+ and military members or veterans are $21, while the price for the tournament pass drops to $27.54. Children aged 5 and under are admitted free of charge. There are no refunds and all in-venue purchases are cashless.
 
Live statistics will be offered for free with links at www.minesathletics.com and on the Tournament Central. Live video will be pay-per-view on the RMAC Network. Streaming prices are $15 for a day pass or $25 for month-long pass.
