Colorado School of Mines Athletics

Sofia Wittmann joined the Mines staff as the Intramural and Club Sports Coordinator in August 2024.

Sofia grew up in Bangor, Maine before attending the University of Vermont where she earned a B.A. in Global Studies. Thereafter, she graduated from the University of Connecticut with an M.S. in Sport Management. She competed as a pole vaulter on both the Catamount and Huskies Varsity Track and Field teams.

Sofia is excited to work closely with IMCS athletes and staff to provide athletic and leadership development opportunities for Mines students. 

Outside of Mines, Sofia enjoys staying active and traveling, especially to visit family in Europe.
