High School: Sonnefeld served as a team captain and earned Second Team All-District honors last season. He averaged 10.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 2.0 steals per game during his junior campaign while shooting 41 percent from the floor, 33 percent from the perimeter and 72 percent from the foul line. He was named Academic All-District, is a member of the National Honor Society and is a member of the Spanish National Honor Society.
