GOLDEN, Colo. - #17 Colorado School of Mines swept Adams State 3-0 (25-16, 30-28, 26-24) in an RMAC match-up Friday night. 

The orediggers (20-4, 14-1 RMAC) notched their sixth consecutive 20-win season with the victory, hitting .306 led by the trio of Abby Tiesman, Lindsey Jin, and Janice Jin. 

Tiesman hit for 15 kills (.385), while Janice Jin had 14 (.367) and Lindsey Jin 13 (.379) behind 48 assists from Marina Hansen, who added seven digs to her night. LaRose Currie led the defense with 11 digs. Hannah Goddard paced ASU with 13 kills.

A resilient Mines squad worked from behind in the last two sets after cruising 25-16 in the opener. The Orediggers didn't lead in the second until 25-24 as they worked their longest set of the season to win 30-28, finally taking control on back-to-back kills by Madeline Behr and Janice Jin. In the third, the Grizzlies led most of the way until a 3-0 run that included two Lindsey Jin kills put them up 18-16; Mines went up 23-18 later in the set before a 5-0 spurt by ASU knotted the set 23-23. After a Mines timeout, the two traded points, but the match went to the home side on a Janice Jin kill and Hailey Babcock's ace to close it out.

Mines will stay home to host Fort Lewis Saturday night at 5 p.m.
