GOLDEN, Colo. - #6 Colorado School of Mines sank 13 three-pointers as it stayed perfect in a 70-51 win over Black Hills State on Friday night.
The Orediggers (9-0, 3-0 RMAC) cruised, going up big early and staying away from the Yellow Jackets (4-3, 1-2 RMAC) thanks to a 13-of-20 three-point clip and 52 percent shooting overall.

The result was never in doubt as Mines led wire-to-wire after Schroepfer and

Black Hills State kept it competitive to start the second half, and drew as close as 11 after a 5-0 spurt capped by Dez Stoudamire's layup at the 10:13 mark, but Mines shut the door with a 12-2 run capped by Glen and Clare lay-ins to put the lead back to 22 late in the half.
The Oredigger defense was outstanding as well, holding BHSU to 33.9 percent overall including 29 percent in the first half. Clare had four blocks and Glen stuffed three, while
