DENVER – The Colorado School of Mines Women's Basketball team closed the regular season Saturday with a 67-53 loss to MSU Denver inside the Auraria Event Center.
Nicole Archambeau posted her 10th double-double of the season with 12 points and 10 rebounds.
Elizabeth Tomon also scored in double digits for the Orediggers with 13 points.
Emily Bailey was a perfect 4-for-4 from the free-throw line.
Tomon struck first for Mines (18-10, 15-7 RMAC) for a second-straight night with a layup just over a minute into the game to make it 2-0. The Orediggers pushed their lead to as many as six points in the first quarter. However, the Roadrunners (21-7, 17-5 RMAC) rallied back, outscoring Mines in the final three quarters to clinch the win and the No. 2 seed in the RMAC Tournament.
