Jace Selsor played the hero with his go-ahead grand slam, finishing the day 2-for-4 with three runs and four RBI.

Mines (19-7, 12-4 RMAC) struck first for a third straight game in the top of the first inning.
Mikey Gangwish drove in Selsor with a sacrifice fly to make it 1-0. UCCS (16-16, 10-10 RMAC) tied it up with a run of its own in the bottom of the opening frame.
Kehe brought the thunder for the Orediggers in the second inning, sending a three-run bomb out to left-center field. However, the Mountain Lions answered scored five unanswered with one run in the second, another in the third and three in the fifth.
Mines entered the sixth inning trailing 6-4, but would not go away.
John Howard hit a one-out single to start things off and
Griffin Jones added a two-out, pinch-hit single to put runners on first and second. Kehe drew a walk to load the bases, bringing Selsor to the plate. The junior lefty left no doubt as he took the ball out the opposite way to left field, giving the Orediggers an 8-6 advantage.
