He took Wyoming's Bradley Moore to sudden victory in the final but lost 8-7.
Christian Lopez wrestled back to third at 125 pounds, bouncing back from an opening loss to go 2-1 for the day and defeating Moses Santiago 7-2 in the third-place bout.
Dylan Yancey won his first two bouts at 141 with 6-4 and 4-2 decisions over Bryce Shelton (Air Force Prep) and Jack Finnegan (unattached), and ended up sixth overall after a 2-3 day. At 157
