INDIANAPOLIS - Two placewinners led #17 Colorado School of Mines at the 42nd Midwest Classic at UIndy on Sunday.
Mines finished 16th in the elite field with 46 team points as they had five wrestlers in action on Sunday. #1 Central Oklahoma won the team title with 106.5 points followed by the hosts UIndy at 97.5.
Weston Hunt ended up sixth at 285 pounds and
Anderson Salisbury seventh at 184 pounds to highlight the individual results for Mines.

Cody Thompson ended up in the fourth round of consolations with a 6-3 decision loss to Darick Lapaglia of Central Missouri. Thompson went 4-2 for the tournament.

Carter Noehre had a consolation fourth-round match-up with Colorado Mesa's Ryan Wheeler, and Wheeler won by fall in 4:04. Noehre went 3-2 for the weekend.

Ryan Fidel faced Hunter Reed of Findlay in the consolation fourth round and lost a 2-0 battle to end 2-2 for the tournament.

Anderson Salisbury finished seventh at 184 pounds, ending his weekend with a first-period fall over Maryville's Joey Williams. Earlier, Salisbury won by a 13-0 major decision against Western Colorado's Cole Gray, but lost to #12 Luke McGonigal of Mercyhurst 4-2 in the fifth consolation round.

Weston Hunt ended up sixth on forfeits after a tough championship semifinal match with #12 Ian Kuehl of McKendree. The two battled to a 1-1 score through three periods as each escaped off their bottom choice, and after still being knotted following one overtime, Kuehl escaped in the ride-out period to win 2-1. Hunt forfeited the consolation semifinal and fifth-place match against UIndy's Cale Gray and Fort Hays State's #10 AJ Cooper, respectively.
