LAS VEGAS, N.M. - Eight bout wins and three falls helped Colorado School of Mines bounce back with a 34-9 win at New Mexico Highlands on Sunday.

The Orediggers (6-1, 2-1 RMAC) received pins from Weston DiBlasi, Grayston DiBlasi, and Jack Damenti, and Teague Dilbeck added a major decision to help push the margin of the victory. 

Mines set the tone early as Christian Lopez worked a 9-6 win at 125 pounds over Rhys Sellers, and the DiBlasi brothers went back-to-back with first-period pins to give Mines a 15-0 lead. Dilbeck then found a late nearfall-four to earn the 10-1 major, and Daniel Caddy beat Evan Killgore 6-2 at 157 before Damenti needed just 1:47 to pin Colin Brown at 165 and Levi Farris beat Thomas Tolbert 6-3.

That put the dual out of reach with Mines ahead 31-0 through seven, and the Cowboys' two wins over the final three weight classes proved to not matter as Lance Killgore defeated Garrett Bakarich 4-2 in a close 184-pound bout and Kioni Benally pinned Charlie Holub at 285. Anderson Salisbury's 4-2 win over Zach Ferris improved him to 14-4 this season.

NOTABLES
- Salisbury's win, the 77th of his career, gave him sole possession of 11th place on the Mines all-time win list. Next up: former teammate Weston Hunt, who is 10th with 78.
- Grayston DiBlasi scored his 18th career fall as a sophomore, tying him with Brandon Saunders for 11th all-time at Mines.
- Both DiBlasi and Damenti improved to 7-0 in duals this season. 
- Mines won for the fifth straight time over the Cowboys. 

NEXT UP
Mines will compete in the Midwest Duals at Nebraska-Kearney on Jan. 21, taking on Newman and Central Missouri.
