NWCA Scholar All-America Release

MANHEIM, Pa. - Seven members of the Colorado School of Mines wrestling team have been named to the National Wrestling Coaches Association's Scholar All-America list.

In addition, the Orediggers ranked 10th nationally in team GPA checking in with a 3.251 on the NWCA's list of Scholar All-America teams. Mines' team GPA is the best in the RMAC.

Mines' seven individual honorees are Jack Damenti, Weston DiBlasi, Grayston DiBlasi, Carson Dulitz, KJ Kearns, Will Loecke, and Niko Mayo. 

NWCA Scholar All-Americans must have a minimum 3.5 cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale, with that benchmark at 3.25 for those who qualified for the 2023 NCAA Division II Wrestling Championships and a 3.0 for those who were All-Americans in 2023. Wrestlers must have competed in at least four dates of competition.
