PUEBLO, Colo. – The Colorado School of Mines volleyball team dropped a 3-0 road match to CSU Pueblo Friday evening.
Amanda Donais Dudley was the Orediggers' top performer after producing a 12-kill, 10-dig double-double.
Jenna McLaughlin made it two Mines players with double-digit kills after knocking down 10.
Naomi Romslo hammered out two service aces.
Abbie O'Shay tallied three total blocks.
Francesca Nuzzo and
Jada Price joined Donais Dudley in the double-digit kills category, touting 14 and 10, respectively.
Hailee Martinez finished with 30 assists.
With the loss, Mines (11-4, 2-3 RMAC) saw its modest, four-match win streak end. CSU Pueblo (12-4, 6-0 RMAC) extended its run to eight consecutive wins. The ThunderWolves nearly hit .300 on the attack and held the Orediggers to a .111 mark. That effort was fueled by CSU Pueblo's 12 blocks compared to five by Mines. Six service aces for the visitors were a bright spot, but the "The Pack" found edges in most other statistical categories.
HOW IT HAPPENED

Avery Perreira did her best by churning out eight digs. Six more Donais Dudley kills and 13 assists by Martinez in the final set weren't enough. Nine ties and seven lead changes finished with a 25-22 win for the home team and a CSU Pueblo sweep of Mines.
